To accurately measure your pet's leg length, you can use a measuring tape provided in your ilume box.
Here's a step-by-step guide to measuring your pet's leg length:
Position your pet: You will be measuring your pet’s front right leg. Position your pet in a comfortable standing or lying position on a flat surface. Make sure their leg is fully extended and not bent or flexed.
Start measuring: Hold one end of the measuring tape at the base of your pet's shoulder (where it connects to the body). Run the tape down in a straight line until you reach the floor. Take note of the measurement at this point.
Note: You do not need to follow the pet’s leg curve, a straight line from the shoulder to the floor is preferred.
Record the measurements: Note down the measurements in the ilume app on the Complete Activity > Measure Leg Length screen.
Remember to be gentle and patient while measuring your pet's leg length to ensure their comfort and cooperation throughout the process.
